Monument to the Victims of Communism in Ottawa - Canada
Communist Sign the petition to support the building of a Monument to the Victims of Communism, in Ottawa, Canada

To: Parliament of Canada
While the horrors of Nazism are well known, who knows that the Soviet Union murdered 20 million people? Who knows that China's dictators have slaughtered an estimated 60 million? Who knows that the Communist holocaust has exacted a death toll surpassing that of all of the wars of the 20th century combined ? Just as we must grasp Communism's brutality, we must understand the true cause of this era's most significant event: the fall of the Soviet Union. While we believe that Vaclav Havel was right when he saw the fall of the Communist empire as an event on the same scale as the fall of the Roman Empire, it was not the end of Communism. Boycott of Greek products in Albania
Boycott of Greek products in Albania!

Albanian nationalists, who accuse Greece of turning the country into a non-conventional colony of Greece, are using the protest to halt the rising power of Greece in the country. In 2006 Greek Imports reached EUR 406mn, while Greek investments are estimated at over EUR 400mn. Greek companies and businesses own substantial shares in the telecommunication, petroleum and financial markets in the country. Strong protests were organized by the "Cham" population, ethnic Albanians that used to live in the territory of current Greece till the end of World War II. Afterwards, they forcedly expelled from their properties. Therefore we call on you to Boycott greek products in Albania

USA Cities:

Times Square - theaters, music halls, and fancy hotels

USA

Times Square, named after the one-time headquarters of The New York Times, is a neighborhood in the borough of Manhattan, New
    Times Square
York City, which centers on 42nd Street and Broadway. It consists of the blocks between 6th and 9th Avenue from east to west and 39th and 52nd Streets from south to north ( GPS +40.75659 -073.98626 ). It makes up the western part of the commercial area of Midtown Manhattan.

    History

New York Times publisher Adolph S. Ochs had moved the paper's operations to a new tower on 42nd Street in the middle of the area known as Longacre Square. Ochs persuaded Mayor George B. McClellan, Jr. to build a subway stop there and rename it Times Square. On April 8, 1904, officiated by Mayor McClellan, it was renamed Times Square. Just three weeks later, the first advertisement appeared on the side of a bank at the corner of 46th Street and Broadway.

New Orleans faces bleak future

USA

City will encounter extraordinary problems in rebuilding

First they have to pump the flooded city dry, and that will take a minimum of 30 days. Then they
An aerial view of the rising flood waters threatening downtown New Orleans, including the famed Superdome
will have to flush the drinking water system, making sure they don't recycle the contaminants. Figure another month for that.

The electricians will have to watch out for snakes in the water, wild animals and feral dogs. It will be a good idea to wear hip boots and take care of cuts and scrapes before the toxic slush turns them into festering sores.

The power grid might be up in a few weeks, but many months will elapse before everybody's lights come back on.
