Monument to the Victims of Communism in Ottawa - Canada
Communist Sign the petition to support the building of a Monument to the Victims of Communism, in Ottawa, Canada

To: Parliament of Canada
While the horrors of Nazism are well known, who knows that the Soviet Union murdered 20 million people? Who knows that China's dictators have slaughtered an estimated 60 million? Who knows that the Communist holocaust has exacted a death toll surpassing that of all of the wars of the 20th century combined ? Just as we must grasp Communism's brutality, we must understand the true cause of this era's most significant event: the fall of the Soviet Union. While we believe that Vaclav Havel was right when he saw the fall of the Communist empire as an event on the same scale as the fall of the Roman Empire, it was not the end of Communism. Boycott of Greek products in Albania
Boycott of Greek products in Albania!

Albanian nationalists, who accuse Greece of turning the country into a non-conventional colony of Greece, are using the protest to halt the rising power of Greece in the country. In 2006 Greek Imports reached EUR 406mn, while Greek investments are estimated at over EUR 400mn. Greek companies and businesses own substantial shares in the telecommunication, petroleum and financial markets in the country. Strong protests were organized by the "Cham" population, ethnic Albanians that used to live in the territory of current Greece till the end of World War II. Afterwards, they forcedly expelled from their properties. Therefore we call on you to Boycott greek products in Albania

The latest big lie unveiled by Washington’s neoconservatives are the poisonous terms, `Islamo-Fascists’ and `Islamic Fascists.

They are the new, hot buzzwords among America’s far right and Christian fundamentalists.
    Eric S. Margolis

By Eric Scanderbeg Margolis - Foreign Correspondent

President George W. Bush made a point last week of using `Islamofacists’ when recently speaking of Hezbullah and Hamas – both, by the way, democratically elected parties. A Canadian government minister from the Conservative Party compared Lebanon’s Hezbullah to Nazi Germany.

The term `Islamofascist’ is utterly without meaning, but packed with emotional explosives. It is a propaganda creation worthy Dr. Goebbles, and the latest expression of the big lie technique being used by neocons in Washington’s propaganda war against its enemies in the Muslim World.

Canada Provinces:

Quebec -a key player in the knowledge economy

Quebec, or Québec in French, (pronounced [kʰwə'bεk] or [kʰə'bεk] in English and [kebεk] in Standard French) is a Canadian province, in Eastern Canada, surrounded by the province of Ontario, the James Bay and the Hudson
    Quebec Flag
Bay to the west, by the Ungava Bay to the north, by the Gulf of Saint Lawrence and the provinces of New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador to the east, and by the United States (the states of New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine) to the south.

The province of Quebec is the largest province geographically in Canada (only the territory of Nunavut is larger). It is the second most populated province, and most of its inhabitants live close to the banks of the Saint Lawrence River; the north portion of the province is sparsely populated.

The official language of Quebec is French; it is the sole Canadian province whose population is mainly French Canadian, and where English is not an official language. Quebec is also the sole territory north of the Caribbean Sea - aside from France itself, and the thinly populated archipelago of St-Pierre and Miquelon - where French is spoken by a majority of the population. Part of New France until 1760, Quebec became a province within the Canadian Confederation at its founding in 1867.

While the province's formidable natural resources have long been the mainstay of its economy, Québec has renewed itself to become a key player in the knowledge economy: information and communication technologies, aerospace, biotechnology and health industries. It has also developed close relations with the northeastern states of the United States.
